In preparation for the Newark, Del.-based Produce Marketing Association’s annual Fresh Summit conference and expo this month, Mastronardi Produce has created a video for its Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The three-minute video, launched the weekend of Oct. 6-7, features Mastronardi staff talking about flavor means to them, according to a news release from the Kingsville, Ontario-based company.

“We came up with the idea over the summer to help our customers and consumers understand what flavor means to our staff each and every day,” Chris Veillon, Mastronardi’s marketing director, said in the release. “All the key departments in our company were involved in the video. Even our chairman, Don Mastronardi, made a cameo appearance. Mr. Mastronardi talked about what flavor meant to his father years ago, and that the business grew out of his dad’s passion for great food.”
