A new Monsanto Co. office and warehouse in Leamington, Ontario, is now open to serve protected culture growers in the area who use De Ruiter seed and rootstock products.
De Ruiter company officials said in a Monsanto news release that they located the office in Leamington because it has one of the company’s largest customer bases. The office provides technical support to regional growers in addition to seeds and rootstock.
Products at the Leamington location are imported from Monsanto’s facilities in the Netherlands. The new warehouse will maintain a large enough inventory to supply orders throughout Canada.
Jenny Burko is the office manager for the Leamington facility. Growers from Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec are expected to use the facility.
