N2N Global has appointed three to its senior management ranks.
The Longwood, Fla.-based food industry software provider added Ronald Folwell as chief financial officer, Harold Ewell as director of food safety and quality assurance, and Jeffrey Tazelaar as director of business development.
Bringing 40 years of accounting and finance experience, Folwell began his career at KPMG as a certified public accountant, rising to audit partner specializing in Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and mergers and acquisitions.
For 10 years, Folwell worked as a CFO for retail and wholesale distribution companies, including 12 years at the Homestead, Fla.-based DiMare Co., where he oversaw financial accounting, cash management and mergers and acquisitions, according to a news release.
With 30 years experience, Ewell is responsible for improving N2N’s software solution suite and helping customers improve internal quality assurance and food safety initiatives, according to the release.
Ewell worked 24 years at H.J. Heinz where he managed a 3,000-member global supply chain and created the company’s best practices supplier management guidelines specific to salmonella and listeria and good agricultural practices.
Ewell also worked for Ralston Purina International for six years.
Tazelaar started his career with Bentonville, Ark.-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc. as a programmer analyst for its information systems department and global radio frequency identification initiative.
Tazelaar helped roll out the technology across multiple departments and later became RFID product manager for a Motorola business partner.
