Naturipe Farms is expanding its fresh snack line with two new product blends, mango and blueberry and grape and blueberry. They’re expected to start distribution in November.
Each pack contains 1.5 ounces of fresh fruit. The original pack in the Ready to Eat line, all blueberries, has 1.25 ounces.
With the launch, packaging has been redesigned to make more of the fruit visible.
Naturipe Farms, Salinas, Calif., is scheduled for booth No. 3148 at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit in Anaheim, Calif., Oct. 17-19.
“We are excited to continue to grow our value added line of products,” Brian Jenny, senior director and general manager of Ready to Eat business development, said in a news release. “The berry category and healthy snacking are two growing trends that we are very focused on.”
Naturipe’s Ready to Eat fresh fruit packs target the snack market, estimated at $65 billion in sales annually.
