Cameron Crump is the new head of the fruit and vegetable inspection program for the Washington State Department of Agriculture. She joined the department staff in 2011 as an international trade specialist, according to a department news release.
Her most recent assignment at the department was as acting international marketing program manager. In that job, Crump helped companies with export training and introductions to potential buyers. In 2012 the program assisted 200 Washington companies with $120 million in sales.
Crump’s previous jobs included managing the international marketing department for Tenon Limited, a New Zealand company that manufactures and distributes specialty wood products from its U.S. headquarters in Baltimore. She has worked in New Zealand and China.
