Ritron Inc. is releasing a wireless monitoring and alert system that provides faster response times for processing plants.

New wireless monitoring system releasedThe Carmel, Ind.-based Ritron says its Quick Talk RQT system accepts inputs from all types of sensors including temperature and flow rate. The system alerts radio-equipped plant personnel with a pre-recorded message for quicker reaction times when plant conditions change, according to a news release.

The system can accommodate any sensors or switch input, allowing the technology to monitor conditions similar to an emergency button and monitors numerous conditions including vibration, power interruption and obstructions for food and other manufacturing environments, according to the release.

The system is compatible with nearly every business-band 2-way radio and can be used with UHF radio repeaters for expanded coverage, according to the release.
