Utilized production of leading fruits other than citrus totaled about 19.2 million tons last year, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Noncitrus Fruits and Nuts 2013 Summary 

The value of leading noncitrus fruits last year totaled $16.1 billion.

Production rose in 2013 for apples, apricots, blueberries, grapes, kiwifruit, pears and other fruits, according to the report.

Production of sweet cherries, nectarines, peaches, strawberries and other fruits fell.
