ORBIS Corp., Oconomowoc, Wis., introduced a reusable plastic pallet, the 40-by-48-inch grocery distribution pallet.
The company says the pallet, which is nestable, has a nest ratio that optimizes space in standard trailers. It has an anti-skid surface, and it’s less porous, avoiding absorbing moistures or odors, according to a news release.
ORBIS says its pallet has four-way handling for hands and fork truck entry.
The pallet is ORBIS’s latest effort to develop reusable plastic shipping options that improve shipping efficiency, according to the release.
