Cranberry giant Ocean Spray has recalled dried cranberry products that may contain metal fragments.

Lakeville, Mass.-based Ocean Spray recalled certain lots of its Original Flavor Craisins Dried Cranberries and bulk sweetened dried cranberries Nov. 25, according to a company news release.

The products could contain what the company refers to as “very small hair-like metal fragments that are unlikely to cause consumer injury.”

As of Nov. 25, the company had not received any reports of consumer complaints related to the affected products, which include 5-ounce, 10-ounce and 48-ounce packages of Original Flavor Craisins Dried Cranberries.

Affected 5-ounce packs have a “best by” date of Oct. 27; 10-ounce packs dates of Oct. 27-29; and 48-ounce packs dates of Oct. 27-28, Nov. 3-7 and Nov. 10-11.

Affected bulk product has best by dates of Oct. 30-31, Nov. 1 and Nov. 5.
