Highline brand mushrooms with these labels (above) are being recalled in Canada because of possible listeria contamination. Compliments brand mushrooms (below) are included in the recall. 
Highline Mushrooms, Leamington, Ontario, is recalling fresh sliced white mushrooms because of possible listeria contamination.
In a notice on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website, the company said the mushrooms were distributed in the province of Ontario and possibly shipped on to other Canadian provinces.
No illnesses had been reported as of Aug. 13. The recall notice does not state how, when or where the possible listeria contamination was discovered.
The mushrooms are packaged in 8-ounce containers under the Highline and Compliments brands. They have use-by dates of Aug. 15. The recalled lot code is L410805 followed by a four-digit time code (e.g., L4108051420), according to the recall notice.
The Highline brand packages have Universal Product Codes of 7 71163 00005 2. The Compliments brand packages have UPC numbers of 0 68820 10090 4.
The notice does not specify the volume of mushrooms involved in the recall.
Officials at Highline Mushrooms referred all questions to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Agency officials did not immediately respond to calls for additional information.
