The Oppenheimer Group, Vancouver, British Columbia, has promoted an organics category manager.
The new manager, Rachel Pagano, is a sales representative in the company’s Seattle office, according to an Oppenheimer news release. She will continue in the position, in addition to her manager role.
She joined the company in 2005 as a sales assistant. She was promoted to sales representative two years later, where she established herself as the company’s top organic saleswoman.
In the release, Pagano said the company’s organic category is only roughly 5% of the company’s inventory. Oppenheimer sells organic OriginO tomatoes and cucumbers, Zespri kiwifruit, Enza apples, Divemex Fair Trade-certified peppers, along with organically grown pears, mangoes and grapes.
