Irvine, Calif.-based Orange County Produce has named Carolyn Chang to its sales staff.

Chang previously sold berries for Well-Pict Berries, Watsonville, Calif., from 2001 to 2009. She was a purchaser for Safeway Inc. at its Watsonville and Honolulu, Hawaii offices for about a decade, ending in 2001.

Chang spent the past four years in business roles outside the produce industry. Her move to Orange County Produce at the end of January marked a return to berry sales.

“Her versatility and relationships in the industry have enabled her to contribute to the team from the start,” Matt Kawamura, managing member, said in a news release.
