Boucher Produce Marketing Association has named Ashley Boucher public relations manager.
She is responsible for public relations activities supporting members, events, products and services — including Fresh Summit 2013, set for Oct. 18-20 in New Orleans.
Boucher, who started Jan. 1, reports to Meg Miller, public relations director for Newark, Del.-based PMA. She also succeeds Miller, who was promoted to director in August after serving two years as manager.
Boucher is also helping to expand the trade association’s use of social media and multimedia, and supporting its issues and crisis management team.
She previously worked for Schubert Communications, an integrated marketing firm for business to business clients in the technical, chemical and biochemical industries. She lives in southern New Jersey.
“Her business to business communications experience gives her solid footing to connect with PMA members about our year-round value,” Miller said in a news release.
