The Produce Marketing Association has a redesigned website.
Launching May 27, pma.com features a new design, organization structure, mobile-ready access and new search features, according to a news release from the Newark, Del.-based PMA.
“Over the past several years, we’ve made a conscious effort to share the wealth of industry resources the association offers in addition to all our conventions, shows and meetings,” Bryan Silbermann, chief executive officer for PMA, said in a release.
Silbermann said one of the challenges is a “one-stop-shop” where members can access those resources.
“Our members told us they needed a global information hub that’s intuitive and engaging — and we’re responding to those needs through this complete rebuilding of pma.com,” Silbermann said in the release.
The site features:
- Improved search functionality;
- Connections to related content;
- Mobile design; and
- Spanish translation; the website will have much of its content translated into Spanish, with Chinese and Portuguese to be introduced later.
The website also will offer three new consumer trend reports from the Hartman Research Group, according to the release.
“Outlook on the Millennial Consumer 2014” is available on the site, and two more reports will be released this summer
on the natural and organic market and insights on the use of digital media by consumers.
