Paksense recognized for innovations

$imgObj.altTextPakSense, Boise, Idaho, was named he Innovative Company of the Year at the Idaho Technology Council’s annual Hall of Fame Celebration. The sixth annual Idaho Innovation Awards nominees were judged by a committee of leaders from the business, technology, and academic communities in Idaho, according to a news release.

“We know what we’re doing is very innovative, but you never know what the outside perspective is,” said Amy Childress, marketing director. “It’s really a great honor and we’re pretty excited about it.”

A manufacturer of temperature-monitoring labels, PakSense was founded in 2004 and began shipping its first generation label in 2006, according to a news release. The company recently announced the launch of the XpressPDF Label, which features a USB connection that creates a PDF of the data collected by the label.

The sixth annual Idaho Innovation Awards were sponsored by the Idaho Business Review and the Idaho National Laboratory.
