Paper Pak Industries Inc. has completed expansions and updates at its two manufacturing facilities: at company headquarters in La Verne, Calif. and in Washington, Ga.

“The implementation of a new manufacturing strategy for Paper Pak’s West and East Coast manufacturing facilities is designed to meet the increasing demand for our technology-driven food safety products,” Ron Jensen, president and chief executive officer, said in a news release.

Also announced in the release was the promotion of Stephen Newton to plant manager of the Georgia facility.

The two manufacturing operations are vertically integrated, in that each now includes an environmentally friendly paper mill, modern high-speed converting lines and storage and distribution facilities, according to the release. Paper Pak’s California facility also includes a microbiology lab and research center that utilizes the latest technology and equipment to develop new value-added absorbent products, the release said.
