In a pledge of support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NatureSweet Tomatoes announced it will donate $100,000 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. This donation, pledged regardless of sales, occurs in conjunction with limited edition pink packaging on NatureSweet SunBursts to help raise awareness of the fight to end breast cancer.

“Many of our families have been affected by breast cancer, and it’s important to our company and our people to raise awareness and support research that is helping to find a cure,” Michael Joergensen, marketing director for NatureSweet, said in a news release.

This marks the third year of NatureSweet’s partnership with Susan G. Komen, and the San Antonio-based company has donated a total of $255,000 to aid in breast cancer research.
