Political analyst and pollster Frank Luntz will give the keynote address at the United Fresh Produce Association’s Washington Conference.
Luntz is set to speak Sept. 10, and will focus on how the fall 2014 Congressional elections will affect the produce industry, according to a news release.
“Frank Luntz has helped shape the debates on our nation’s most critical public policy issues,” senior vice president of public policy Robert Guenther said in the release. “With The Washington Conference taking place only a few weeks prior to the pivotal 2014 elections, Dr. Luntz will provide attendees with an up-to-the minute analysis of on the direction of the political tide.”
Luntz was named one of “50 of America’s most promising leaders aged 40 and under” by Time magazine.
He was also named one of the four “Top Research Minds” by Business Week and won the The Washington Post “Crystal Ball” award for being the most accurate pundit, according to the release. In 2012, he was included in a Time global poll of the “most influential people in the world,” according to the release.
