Two longtime Potandon employees advanced to senior positions after more than a decade with the Idaho Falls-based potato and onion marketing company.

Ralph Schwartz was promoted to vice president of sales, marketing and innovation after 12 years at Potandon. He previously worked as director of category management and value added marketing before moving into the newly created VP position. Schwartz brings experience in retail, wholesale, marketing, procurement, and sales to his new role, according to a news release.

Barbara Keckler, a 15-year Potandon veteran, moved into the marketing manager position. Keckler is responsible for all promotional and advertising work including new program development, electronic marketing, media relations and branded marketing programs.

“These promotions reflect our company’s commitment to excellence and the increasing importance that we feel lies in working with our retailers to provide innovative products and promotions,” said Dick Thomas, senior vice president of sales, in a news release.
