Reorganizing its sales staff, Idaho Falls, Idaho-based Potandon Produce LLC has promoted:

  • Bernie Pavlock, to director of business development;
  • J.P. Surerus, to senior retail manager;
  • Stephanie Bench, to foodservice sales manager;
  • Travis Hess, to wholesale sales manager; and
  • Joey Dutton, to key account sales manager.

With 20 years of industry experience, Pavlock was previously Potandon’s sales manager.

He is responsible for growing the category with existing customers and adding new business.

Formerly a sales manager, Surerus plans to direct the sales staff’s daily operations.

A 20-year sales veteran, Surerus also worked as a broker and a sales manager.

A 12-year Potandon employee, Bench is responsible for managing daily foodservice account operations.

Bench has 23 years of experience and formerly worked for Sunspiced of Idaho and the Blackwood-based Idaho Fresh Cooperative.

Hess is a 19-year industry veteran who plans to manage Potandon’s terminal market and regional distributor sales.

With 11 years of experience at Potandon, including stints at Potandon’s Idaho Falls and Washington offices, Dutton plans to focus on managing some of the company’s large accounts.

“These promotions reflect Potandon’s commitment to excellence with a new look and feel to the sales team, we can be more responsive to the needs of our customers,” Dick Thomas, senior vice president of sales, said in a news release.

Potandon is the exclusive North American marketer of Green Giant Fresh potatoes and onions.
