The Woodridge, Ill.-based software company plans to launch PPro Sales App Oct. 26 at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit in Anaheim, Calif., according to a news release.
The new app mobilizes Produce Pro’s sales functionality to provide users with real-time data specific to the customers they are visiting, the release said. PPro Sales App will communicate with existing Produce Pro systems to allow for updates to pricing and customer information.
Produce Pro vice president Tony Zuccato said in the release that the company developed the app in response to customers’ requests for smart device mobile capability. The app provides sales representatives details on their customers’ previous orders as well as inventory information, price lists and more.
Produce Pro staff will demonstrate the new app at Booth No. 3833 at PMA’s Fresh Summit.
