The Quebec Produce Marketing Association won two awards at the Quebec Association of Public Relations Professionals Excellence Awards ceremony.
QPMA won for its “Mandoline invites you to discover fruits and vegetables with your 5 senses” toolkit, according to a news release.
The toolkit won the silver award in the tactical excellence- communication tolls category and the Coup de Coeur 2013 prize.
The Mandoline toolkit was designed to encourage young children to discover the taste of fresh fruits and vegetables, and to consume the recommended daily amount.
“Receiving SQPRP Excellence Awards for this project exceeds all our expectations,” Sophie Perreault, QPMA executive director, said in the release. “Our award in the Communications tool category shows just how relevant and effective the toolkit is, while the Coup de Coeur 2013 award acknowledges and celebrates a creative initiative developed in a social context where the healthy eating habits of the population at large is one of the most pressing issues we face today.”
