The Quebec Produce Marketing Association, along with the California Table Grape Commission, introduced the “Coup de cœur pour les raisins de table de la Californie” food guide featuring grapes.

The guide supports the “I love 5 to 10 servings a day” campaign. Created in 2004 by QPMA, the campaign promotes fruits and vegetables as a part of healthy lifestyles. In turn, the campaign benefits QPMA members by boosting sales of fresh produce.

Julie DesGroseilliers, a nutritionist and spokesperson for the campaign, wrote the guide. It features properties of grapes, the history of grapes and three recipes that incorporate the fruit. One of the recipes, created for the guide by chef Jonathan Garnier, uses pork and grapes to achieve a savory and sweet flavor simultaneously.
