New York wholesaler RBest Produce Inc., has officially relocated its headquarters to larger operations.

On Oct. 23, the Bronx, N.Y.-based RBest dedicated its new warehouse in the Long Island city of Port Washington, N.Y.

RBest moved to the 182,000 square foot building in Nassau County after distributing produce for 32 years from a location across the street from the Hunts Point Terminal Market.

The new plant includes 70,000 square feet of refrigerated space dedicated to produce, more than twice the capacity it worked from on Food Center Drive.

Before relocating to Long Island, RBest considered other sites in the Bronx and New Jersey.
