Ready Pac creates Facebook campaign with Feeding America

Ready Pac Foods Inc. is partnering with Feeding America, a hunger-relief charity, for a Facebook campaign called Like to Fight Hunger.

This campaign is focusing on Ready Pac’s new Disney-themed Cool Cuts salads and mini-meals for kids, according to a news release.

For each “like” on Facebook, Ready Pac will donate to Feeding America. Ready Pac will donate up to 250,000 meals during the campaign, according to the release.

“Today, 50 million Americans are food insecure, and one in five children under the age of 18 does not have access to enough nutritious food to learn, grow or thrive,” Tristan Simpson, director of marketing and corporate communications for Ready Pac, said in the release. “Feeding America is currently serving 14 million children, and this campaign allows Ready Pac and its fans to help fight hunger and provide healthy meals to kids.”
