The Association’s initiative is to up awareness about heart disease, while raising funds for research.

Sakata attended the northern central coast’s annual Go Red For Women Luncheon in May, according to a news release.

The luncheon had more than 200 in attendance and more than $60,000 was raised.

“As we celebrate Sakata’s 100th anniversary, it is no coincidence that we are supporting AHA Go Red For Women,” Alecia Troy, senior marketing manager, said in the release. “This is just the kind of initiative Sakata is proud to be a part of as we celebrate our long history of service in the community, commitment to staff, and development of sustainable, reliable, and heart-healthy products.”

You have a very informative and user friendly bio. Please tell me that a seed producer who's business is thriving in the city of Morgan Hill, Ca. believes in keeping their product natural. There are so many seed companies genetically modifying seeds to stretch productivity and profit without regard to the health of the humans who will eat the fruits or vegetables born and nurtured from the seeds of your Company. I am confident that you see the value of staying close to nature when it involves the health of the children, mothers and fathers and their physical future for generation to come. Thank you for all your attention and patience in this matter. I love the way you grow vegetables in the front lawn area of your establishment. Peace, love and harmony, Sally
