Sbrocco International Inc. recently became the first fresh fruit distributor to participate in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Quality Monitoring Program. The program is designed to help buyers monitor the quality of the produce they receive and handle through objective assessments based on U.S. grade standards.
The Mt. Laurel, N.J.-based company’s 2013-14 table grapes will be the first product put to the test, according to a news release. All of Sbrocco’s Good 4 U Fresh Fruit branded products will be packaged with a Quality Monitoring Program seal.
“Driven by our commitment to exceeding customer expectations, Sbrocco is participating in the QMP to augment our existing quality assurance program and our effective, systematic approach to ensuring the quality and condition of our products,” the company said in the release.
