The June 14 dinner was at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre in Toronto. Scout Logistics, has been involved with a variety of charities and hospitals through its affiliation with the Bridle Bash Foundation.
“This year, as Memorial Day came and went, we wanted to show our appreciation for the veterans who sacrificed their lives and to whom we owe our eternal thanks,” vice president of corporate affairs Hannah Abrams said in a news release. “Our company feels very passionate about Remembrance Day and understands that if it wasn’t for the selfless acts of these brave men and women fighting for our freedom for generations many of us wouldn’t be here today.”
Catering the dinner was special to the employees of Scout Logistics; they were also pleased to surpise the veterans with a great meal.
“We wholeheartedly believe they should be thanked not just on the 11th of November, but every day,” Abrams said in the release.
