Setton Pistachio, part of Setton Farms, is participating in the 12th annual Produce for Kids Get Healthy, Give Hope campaign, which raises thousands of dollars for children’s organizations.
The campaign offers grocery shoppers at participating Price Chopper locations the opportunity to give to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other local children’s charities when purchasing Setton Pistachio’s Pistachio Chewy Bites and other healthy foods through July 26, according to a news release.
“Get Healthy, Give Hope is an invaluable initiative,” Setton Farms chief operating officer Mia Cohen said in the release. “By educating parents and children on the benefits of creating nutritious meals together, the campaign is planting a seed for lifelong wellness, not to mention its benefit to children’s organizations. We’re proud to support it.”
The campaign will support more than 35 participating fresh fruit and vegetable suppliers. Suppliers make a consumption-based donation to the charities.
In-store signage will alert shoppers to all participating produce companies. In-store materials will also encourage people to visit www.ProduceForKids.com for additional campaign information and more than 150 produce-centered recipes and healthy tips for parents.
