Produce wholesaler WUHL Shafman Lieberman Company plans to implement the FoodLink produce traceability solution on all its U.S. produce, according to a FoodLink news release.

Installation of the system will benefit Shafman Lieberman’s Fresh Cut Produce division, including onions, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, peaches, citrus, grapes and cantaloupes. The traceability system offers case- and item-level tracking with a commerce network of buyers and sellers transacting within the FoodLink network, according to the release. Through the solution, the wholesaler can view traceability information, from growing and packing to receiving by retail managers.
