Shenandoah Growers, Harrisonburg, Va., has named Steve Wright vice president of sales and has added facilities in Georgia and Texas.

Wright was previously director of produce and floral at Tops Friendly Markets. The additional facilities for growing, packing and logistics support expansion of Shenandoah’s fresh-cut and certified organic living culinary herbs.

“We aim to stay ahead of anticipated growth,” chief executive officer Timothy Heydon said in a news release. “Steve adds another dimension to our talented leadership team, and the new facilities are in line with previously announced expansion plans.”

Wright will manage all fresh product line revenues and build the sales and service organization.

The company has 250 employees in Virginia, Florida and Indiana. It ships product for distribution to more than 4,000 supermarket outlets across 21 states.
