State Garden Inc. has introduced a new line of cooking greens.

Packed under the Chelsea, Mass.-based company’s Simple Beginnings brand, the new product comes in 9-ounce bags and is available in three varieties: baby kale, baby spinach and saute blend, according to a company news release.

“We are pleased to add the cooking greens line to our Simple Beginnings brand,” Stephen Noll, State Garden’s vice president of sales and marketing, said in the release. “The cooking greens segment has become one of the fastest growing categories on the produce wall, and we anticipate even greater growth during the fall and winter seasons.”

Product in the new packs comes washed and ready to cook.

State Garden launched the Simple Beginnings brand of conventional produce in 2013. The company also ships organic vegetables.
