The sweepstakes launched on the company’s website, blog and social media sites in mid-June.
Consumers who enter the sweepstakes will get weekly e-mails from Stemilt throughout June and July; the e-mails will have cherry recipes created by Carolyn Ketchum from All Day I Dream About Food or Connie Ott from MiscFinds4U, according to a news release.
Ketchum specializes in low-carb, gluten-free and diabetic recipes, while Ott is a do-it-yourself expert with a focus on nutrition and health benefits of cherries.
Stemilt GrowersCarolyn Ketchum's Her Gluten Free Cherry Pavlova is the first of four recipes that Stemilt will send to consumers via e-mail during the #CherrySweet Summer Sweepstakes.“We’re thrilled to partner with Carolyn and Connie, both of whom are well-known and well-loved by consumers. Tapping into their experience and expertise will be a great way for us to get more Stemilt cherries in people’s hands this summer, and educate consumers about the many great health benefits that cherries provide,” Stemilt communications manager Brianna Shales said in the release.
