Sunlight International’s Halloween-themed packaging and display materials for Jakov P. Dulcich & Sons table grapes — dubbed Incredible Grape Pumpkin Patch — is among the finalists in the Produce Marketing Association Impact Awards.
Winners are to be announced Oct. 18 at PMA’s Fresh Summit in New Orleans. The awards recognize the effect that packaging has on marketing, sustainability, food safety, convenience and supply chain efficiency. Sunlight International, the marketing arm of McFarland, Calif.-based Jakov P. Dulcich & Sons, is at booth 1741 at the expo.
Incredible Grape Pumpkin Patch features a standing colander bag. The point-of-sale kit consists of freestanding bins, display cards, danglers, posters and balloons.
“Presenting our product in the most innovative ways has always been our goal,” Nick Dulcich, vice president, said in a news release.
