MONROEVILLE, Pa. — Supervalu is showcasing new produce items and merchandising ideas for Eastern U.S. customers.
A regional expo and show on April 11 focuses on showing how Supervalu’s retail customers how to differentiate themselves from competitors, including new displays/equipment and merchandising techniques.
About 70 produce and floral vendors displayed products at the expo, which attracted store owners, supervisors, managers, produce and floral directors to the Pittsburgh-area show.
“This is not a selling show,” said Mario Grana, Supervalu’s New Stanton-based director of produce and floral category management. “Our focus is training and education.”
