Eden Prairie, Minn.-based Supervalu’s “Sales 4 All Seasons,” set for Aug. 12-14 in St. Paul, Minn., is expected to attract about 3,000 attendees, according to a company news release.
Attendees are expected to include independent retailers, industry personnel, grocery and food suppliers and employees.
The expo will feature hundreds of exhibits, displays and products for every retail department and category. The show will kick off with a day focused on training seminars and industry education.
“This is going to be a huge event, and I’m really excited at the commitment Supervalu and our suppliers are making to our customers by delivering this national show,” Janel Haugarth, Supervalu’s president of independent business, said in the release. “Our retailers will gain new insights into creative solutions and products that will help them continue to be successful local grocers. The event also provides a valuable networking opportunity with their fellow retailers and experts from our supplier community.”
Also at the expo, Supervalu will announce winners of its 2014 Master Marketer competition, which honors the top marketing campaigns of the company’s independent retailers.
