The United States Sweet Potato Council, Columbia, S.C., is distributing the Sweet Potato Statistical Yearbook.

The council has added new material that has not been available in the nine previous issues, according to a news release.

With the new data included the number of pages in the yearbook has increased to 44 pages.

“The Yearbook contains 20 years of data, thereby enabling the reader to see trends in such factors as production, yields, acres planted, season-average price, crop value per acre, shipments by week, per capita usage, world production, world trade, U.S. exports and many other factors,” said Charles Walker, executive secretary in the release.

Visit the council’s website to order a copy; it costs $20 in the U.S. and $25 outside the U.S., according to the release.
