Cincinnati-based Total Quality Logistics will begin its annual weeklong $1 Per Load Memorial Day fundraising campaign on May 13.

Kristine Glenn, public relations specialist, said TQL anticipates moving up to 17,000 loads during the promotion.

TQL started the campaign in 2009 to raise money for the Yellow Ribbon Support Foundation. The campaign has raised over $38,000 so far.

The foundation helps with the cost of shipping care packages to deployed service members.

“This is an event TQL looks forward to every year,” Kerry Byrne, executive vice president, said in the release. “The dedication and service of the men and women of our military to each and every one of us can never be forgotten.”

Produce loads account for more than 25% of TQL’s loads.
