TQL employee and National Guard member 2nd Lt. Andrew Carpenter nominated the company for the award, according to a news release.
As part of his nomination, Carpenter specifically mentioned Rick Borkowski, group sales manager, as being supportive of his decision to join the military.
Carpenter began working for TQL in May 2009 and joined the National Guard in the fall of 2010. He spent eight months out of the following year away for military training.
“Rick assured me my job and my accounts would be exactly the same when I got back, and they were,” Carpenter said in the release.
