Total Quality Logistics has opened a Houston sales office.
The national sales office opened Aug. 19 and will include a group of 13 workers, according to a news release.
The Cincinnati-based freight brokerage firm plans to add 50 more sales people to the Houston office within the next three years, according to the release.
The opening is part of TQL’s national expansion, according to the release.
“We have high expectations for growth in the city and look forward to future investment,” Kerry Byrne, TQL’s executive vice president, said in the release. “National expansion is important for our company because it allows us to serve an increasingly larger share of the domestic transportation market.”
Seven of the workers previously worked in other TQL offices, according to the release.
TQL opened its first Texas operation Austin, Texas, last year. More than 30 people work in that office, according to the release.
The Houston location is TQL’s 19th U.S. office.
