A dish featuring specialty potatoes from Bancroft, Wis.-based Tasteful Selections LLC will be served at the Produce Marketing Association’s annual Foodservice Conference and Exposition in Monterey, Calif.
Tasteful Selections has partnered with chef Brant Good to create a dish for the convention’s networking breakfast July 30, according to a news release from RPE, one of the companies behind Tasteful Selections.
Good is a 30-year foodservice veteran and the executive chef at Monterey’s Sardine Factor.
Tasteful Selections potatoes also will be featured at RPE’s booth at the convention.
The Tasteful Selections line was introduced in 2010 as a joint venture of RPE; Watertown, S.D.-based CSS Farms Inc.; Stevens Point, Wis.-based Plover River Farms Inc.; and Carrollton, Texas-based Pro-Health.
The line includes fingerlings, small potatoes in red, white, yellow and purple varieties and in sizes ranging from marble and peewee to standard B and C creamers.
Tasteful Selections potatoes are grown on a 1,200-acre operation in Bakersfield, Calif.
