Testa Produce achieves Governor’s Sustainability Award

Testa Produce Inc., Chicago, was one of 21 Illinois companies and organizations that was honored with the Governor’s Sustainability Awards.

The award was presented by the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center, which is a unit of the Prairie Research Institute at the University of Illinois, according to a news release.

“These businesses and organizations have shown that it is possible to create and maintain conditions under which people and the environment can exist in productive harmony, and fulfill the social and economic requirements of present and future generations,” Manohar Kulkarni, Illinois Sustainable Technology Center director, said in the release.
