Under the deal, Energie’s Ken Tippler and Nadine Tunley will work to strengthen Freshmax’s pipfruit export and domestic deals, Snow Hardy, Freshmax’s general manager for global pipfruit, said in a news release.
“We warmly welcome the Energie team of Ken Tippler and Nadine Tunley to Freshmax,” Hardy said in the release. “This partnership falls suitably into line with the Freshmax strategy announced earlier this month to strongly accelerate growth and development in the Pacific Rim.”
Energie’s expertise in supply chain processes and systems developed to service retail programs around the world will be introduced throughout the global Freshmax export operations, Hardy said.
Freshmax’s produce roster includes stone fruit, citrus, apples, pears, grapes, onions, kiwifruit, berries, cherries, avocado and tomatoes.
