The Packer debuts new relaunched today with a new look and easier navigation.

“Our readers should find the site to be cleaner overall and easier to find the content you’re looking for,” said Editor Greg Johnson.

Among the features are the incorporation of The Produce Market, a social media site for produce industry members.

“The Produce Market should allow readers to engage in more in-depth conversations about produce industry stories and trends,” Johnson said.

National Editor Tom Karst is leading The Packer’s social media efforts.

Another site feature is the addition of related articles on all story pages, which should give readers more information and a better perspective of the news.

The search function is also improved.
