The Produce Mom, aka Lori Taylor, is scheduled to present a workshop at the National Grocers Association Show in Las Vegas.
Taylor, marketing manager of the Indianapolis Fruit Co., launched the consumer blog in 2012. Her presentation, “A Fresh Approach to Produce Sales” is the first day of the Feb. 9-12 show.
The interactive presentation’s topics include:
• Why consumers are desperate for produce information;
• Understanding the challenges in educating consumers; and
• Four communication methods that any grocer can use.
Taylor also plans to discuss the results from two recent surveys conducted through The Produce Mom blog that were designed to encourage fruit and vegetable consumption. The surveys are “8 Produce Shopping Habits of Millennial Moms” and “9 Ways Grocers Engage Customers (On the Floor & Online).”
