Tomato Thyme has fresh Tasti-Lee tomato salsas

Tomato Thyme Corp. Tasti-Lee salsasTomato Thyme Corp. Tomato Thyme Corp. is introducing a line of fresh-cut salsas. Tomato Thyme Corp., a Wimauma, Fla.-based tomato grower-shipper, is introducing a line of fresh-cut salsas.

Marketed under Tomato Thyme’s White Diamond Farms processing label, the refrigerated salsas are available in 16-ounce plastic containers and are made with vine-ripened Tasti-Lee tomatoes.

In late December, Tomato Thyme plans to sell the products in southeastern Publix Super Markets Inc. stores, which is based in Lakeland, Fla.

The salsas are available in mild, medium and hot, according to a news release.

Tomato Thyme renovated the White Diamond fresh-cut processing facility August. Improvements include air purification and sanitation systems and a modern chiller which helps extend shelf life and freshness, according to the release.

I hope I can find this fresh salsa in Wegmans! I love Tasti Lee tomatoes and I love salsa.

Bought a container of "Tasti-Lee"mild mannered Fresh Salsa at my local Publix and don't like it at all. To salvage the rest of the container will try to make some sort of spaghetti sauce out of it.
