Turbana Corp. is promoting healthy eating through a partnership with Price Chopper and Produce for Kids.

Turbana, Price Chopper launch Produce for Kids campaignThrough July 27, the Coral Gables, Fla.-based Turbana is using in-store display units and stickers to promote Produce for Kids’ spring campaign in produce aisles at the Schenectady, N.Y.-based Price Chopper stores.

The Orlando, Fla.-based Produce for Kids’ “Get Healthy, Give Hope” spring campaign works to educate consumers about how fresh produce can help families eat healthier.

Working through 132 Price Chopper stores, the campaign is designed to help Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals within Price Chopper’s communities as well as Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, N.H., according to a news release.

Turbana is affixing its banana clusters with stickers promoting the campaign showing how Turbana supports the Produce for Kids organization.

The campaign, which began June 16, also works with bloggers in Price Choppers’ region to discuss the campaign.

“Price Chopper would like to thank Turbana for partnering with us on the Produce for Kids campaign.” Keith Frosceno, Price Choppers’ group vice president of fresh merchandising, said in the release. “As Turbana has a long history of being the supplier of Price Chopper brand bananas, this campaign is one of several campaigns that Turbana has partnered with Price Chopper on over the years.”
