Kurrle has worked on critical industry issues for more than 10 years, according to a news release.
“We are creating an expanded portfolio of responsibilities to leverage Diane’s unique talents, relationships and experiences both inside and outside of government,” association president and chief executive officer Jim Bair said in the release. “The portfolio will be relabeled Government Affairs. This will add clarity to the public’s understanding of her role here.”
Kurrle has been a vital asset to the association. Most recently, she has been the interim president and chief executive officer of the association.
Bair said he hopes the new title will better reflect Kurrle’s value to the association and give a better representation of her responsibilities.
