USDA offers new Web seminars

Offering insights on market news and trust protection, two new free Web seminars are scheduled for July 25 and Aug. 22 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service’s Fruit and Vegetable Program.

The seminars will feature a presentation from a USDA expert followed by a question-and-answer session, according to a USDA news release.

The July 25 event, titled “New Custom Average Tool Explained,” will start at 2 p.m. Eastern time. Registration for the seminar is available online.

The Aug. 22 seminar is titled “The PACA Complaint Process — An Interactive Discussion” and will begin at 2 p.m. on Aug. 22. Registration is available online.

Space is limited, according to the USDA. Past seminars are available for viewing online, according to the release.
