The U.S. Department of Agriculture is changing the time of day it releases several statistical reports.

Beginning Jan. 1, six reports produced by USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) and World Agricultural Outlook Board will be released at 12 p.m. Eastern instead of 8:30 a.m. Eastern, according to a USDA news release.

Affected reports include World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates, Acreage, Crop Production, Grain Stocks, Prospective Plantings and Small Grains Summary.

The change reflects changes in market hours at major commodity exchanges.
